HELL IS Real
Real Christians KNOW some things. Real Christians KNOW they deserve to go to hell as sure as they KNOW why they will NOT get what they deserve. We are saved by grace through repentance and FAITH in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, UNTO good works. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. And Jesus said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. That means believing ALL that Jesus said, including the facts and realities of hell.
Real biblical Christianity has historically taught that there is only one of two possible destinations awaiting mankind after death: heaven or hell. To those who have been justified by faith and received the righteousness of Christ applied to their account, there awaits a glorious eternity in the Kingdom of heaven. To the rest who willfully reject God's gift of salvation or who attempt to appease God's demand for perfection by some other way, rather than trusting in the righteousness of Christ, there awaits the terrors of hell.
In these last days of strong delusion it is not just the Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, other NON-Christian cults, who deny the reality of hell. The Mormons will lie and say they do believe in hell, but that is no less of a lie then when they say they are Christians. The entire Mormon religion of their false prophet Joseph Smith is full of lies and duplicity, designed to lead them all to see and be with Joseph Smith and Mohammed and the rest of Satan’s false prophets now in the everlasting burning torments of hell. Sadly, in these last days of strong delusion, when men will NOT endure Sound Doctrine, many teachers who present themselves to be Christians or Messianic believers, deny the reality of Hell.
The Word of God teaches that hell is as real as heaven and will last as long as heaven.
It is important for believers in these last days to KNOW and articulate the facts, truth, and reality of the place of eternal torment created for the devil and his angels known as hell. For we are to be the witnesses of the truths revealed and taught by Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ. Compassion does not work on most hell bound people today. Yes, upon a few, to have compassion can make a difference. We need to know by the Spirit of Truth when we are dealing with such a rare exception. However, in these last days marked by apostasy, strong delusion, false teachers, the vast majority can only be led to want to be saved by the necessary truths of the Word of God, to cause them to FEAR. The others, of whom Jude spoke, even over 95% of whom would today call themselves Christians or Messianic believers, need to be saved or born again, AGAIN. And the means would be by FEAR, as Jude so clearly stated. And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jesus often taught regarding the fact, truth and reality of hell. He KNEW the certain rich man and and He knew Lazarus. This is not a parable or story. The Lord said a CERTAIN rich man. He knew this man and He knew that the man was in the torment of Hell. Listen carefully to what Jesus told the most religiously certain they were saved people:
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. Jesus then want on to speak of CERTAIN real people whom He knew, to teach us some facts and truths we MUST understand in these last days of strong delusion. I pray we will all have ears to hear what the LORD said about these certain people He knew, and the certain eternal destiny, which He knew them to have.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in HELL he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Anyone who says hell is not real makes the LORD a liar. Hell is a place of torment created for the devil and his angels. For anyone who rejects that Jesus is the I AM, both the Creator and Redeemer, The Mighty God, who took flesh upon Himself to be the once for all perfect sin offering, all such will spend eternity in a place of eternal torment known as hell. Yeshua THE Messiah said it explicitly – unless you believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins. The Jews, to whom He spoke in John 8:24, and John 8:54-59, OBVIOUSLY understood He said that He is the SAME I AM who spoke to Abraham and taught Torah to Moses, for they immediately tried to stone Him:
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
The Bible warns of a place called hell. I believe God can NOT Lie, and God does NOT change. There are over 162 references in the New Testament alone which warn of hell. Over 70 times Lord Jesus Christ spoke of the reality of hell. Those who deny the facts, reality, and truth of hell, will find they were wrong in the worst possible way. The fact that someone does not believe in the reality of hell has absolutely NO effect on the reality of hell. Those who would cliam to be Christians and teach that hell is not real need to be SHARPLY rebuked. All such liars and deceived deceivers make my Lord out to be a liar. Know this - all who lie about the facts and reality of hell - ALL liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The LORD gave us such a vivid word picture of the facts and reality of hell because He does not want us to go there. Denying the reality of hell is NOT the way to try to help ANYONE not end up in hell, including the deceived deceivers who deny hell's reality.
The certain rich man that He knew, died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENTS, said I am tormented in this FLAME. In Matthew 13:42, Jesus said, And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. And in Revelation 20:15, And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. Those who reject the gospel need to know that Satan has a God given right to TORMENT their soul in a VERY REAL PLACE CALLED HELL.
The bible clearly teaches that HELL, or as it is sometimes called “the pit,” or “bottomless pit,” or “lake of fire”, is in the center of the earth. Isa 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Ezek 32:18-21 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit. Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised. They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes. The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword. Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
The bible prophets certainly believed hell to be real and located beneath the earth's surface. To say this is not scientific is to assume science knows much more about the earth's interior than is actually the case. The great pit, known as hell, would need less than 100 miles in diameter to contain easily over forty billion people. Most who have studied population say that there are as many people alive on earth today as have every lived and died. So if one assumes their souls and spiritual bodies are the same size as their physical bodies, a 100 mile diameter hell is more than large enough for the devil his angels and all following the devil by design or default.
In 1987 scientific papers were published which stated the Earth's Center was hotter than the Sun’s Surface. Scientists estimate THE EARTH'S INNER CORE HAS A TEMPERATURE OF OVER 12,000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT! The reality of this lake of fire in the center of the earth, making it bottomless, should be obvious with the effects of most volcanoes. Many described the eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980, as when hell surfaced on earth. The bible has always ultimately been proven correct by honest science. For thousands of years the Bible has accurately described a place called hell in the heart of the earth, that is confirmed by what science is recently discovering.
Inside this earth right now are millions of lost souls, burning in torment, with absolute total hopelessness. And what are we doing to avoid such a place? Hate crimes, or no hate crimes, how could we say we love someone and not give warning of the fact and reality of such a possible eternal destiny? Those would dare to call themselves Christian and teach that hell is not real, are FAR removed from LOVE, regardless of how highly they think of themselves. Such will lead to that place of torment by their lies and vain imaginations, which exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. Such make the LORD to be a liar by their vain deceptions teaching hell is not a real place of eternal torment.
This is the word of God as much as anything else in the bible. Mark 9:43-48; And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Whom shall we believe? The Lord Jesus Christ, who IS The Truth Personified, or the local liar for hire who tells us what we want to hear? The Lord said THEIR worm, not a worm, or the worm, but THEIR worm. The earth’s crust on land is about 50 miles thick in most places. However, in parts of the ocean floor, the earth’s crust is less than a mile thick. Recently cracks have been discovered on the ocean floor where molten rock was leaking out. Around those hot places on the ocean floor where the molten lava was coming out very, very, deep in the ocean floor were found big worms, yes like eight foot long worms, found no where else on the planet. These worms are called Riftia. Riftia pachyptila live over a mile deep on the floor of the oceans near hydrothermal vents called black smokers, first discovered in 1977. The temperature of the water at the vent can reach 750 F degrees. These worms up to 8 feet can obviously tolerate extremely high temperatures and total darkness.
Hell is a place where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenced and in total darkness.
Finding the grace of God in repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to avoid the eternal destiny known as hell. Inside this earth is a lake of fire and brimstone, the reality of which has been known those who believe the Word of God for thousands of years. Recent scientific discoveries in this last generation confirm that is indeed what is deep under the earth’s crust. Literally fire and brimstone. Volcanoes blast streams of molten sulphur, which has been scientifically verified only as late as 2002, the unchanging truth the bible has recorded for thousands of year.
It is humanly impossible to comprehend the Bible description of hell. Nothing on earth can compare with it. No nightmare could produce a terror to match that of hell.
What you're about to read is hard to believe. Don't take what you're going to read lightly. If what you read is true - EVERYONE COULD BE IN SERIOUS DANGER!
Several years ago a book was published, entitled Beyond Death's Door by Dr. Maurice Rawlings. Dr.Rawlings, a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, resuscitated many people who had been clinically dead. Dr. Rawlings, a devout atheist, "considered all religion "hocus-pocus" and death nothing more than a painless extinction". But something happened in 1977 that brought a dramatic change in the life of Dr. Rawlings! He was resuscitating a man, terrified, and screaming, descending down into the flames of hell: Each time he regained heart beat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. .. Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the statement seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling - he looked as if his hair was "on end." Then still another strange thing happened. He said, "Don't you understand? I am in hell.. . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before. (Maurice Rawlings, Beyond Death's Door, Thomas Nelson Inc., 1979) p. 3).
Dr. Rawlings said, no one, who could have heard his screams and saw the look of terror on his face could doubt for a single minute that he was actually in a place called hell! The Bible continually warns of a place called hell. There are over 162 references in the New Testament alone which warns of hell. And over 70 of these references were uttered by the Lord Jesus Christ!
On page 85 of Beyond Death's Door, Dr. Rawlings said, patients who described hell said, ". . . this place seems to be UNDERGROUND or WITHIN THE EARTH in some way."
Thousands of years ago, the Bible described a place called hell in the heart of the earth that matches exactly what science is discovering. YES! THERE IS A PLACE CALLED HELL!
The Bible describes HELL as a place of weeping (Matt 8:12), wailing (Matt 13:42), gnashing of teeth (Matt 13:50), darkness (Matt 25:30), flames (Luke 16:24), burning (Isa33:14), torments (Luke 16:23), everlasting punishment! Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels." In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
HELL IS FOREVER! Jesus says in Matthew 25:41: ". . . Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING fire, Rev. 14:11: The smoke of their TORMENT ascendeth up for EVER AND EVER: and they have NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT. What could possibly be worth eternity in hell? No wonder Jesus Christ warned so much about hell! No wonder Jesus said in Mark 8:36, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?" Jesus Christ took hell very serious. How did Jesus describe hell? Jesus Christ spoke more on hell than any other subject. Just look at how Jesus described hell: "fire" Matt 7:19, 13:40, 25:41 "everlasting fire" Matt 18:8, 25:41 "eternal damnation" Mark 3:29 "hell fire" Matt 5:22, 18:9, Mark 9:47 "damnation" Matt 23:14, Mark 12:40, Luke 20:47 "shall be damned" Mark 16:16 "damnation of hell" Matt 23:33 "resurrection of damnation" John 5:29 "furnace of fire" Matt 13:42, 50 "the fire that never shall be quenched" Mark 9:43, 45 "the fire is not quenched" Mark 9:44, 46, 48 "Where their worm dieth not" Mark 9:44, 46, 48 "wailing and gnashing of teeth" Matt 13:42, 50 "weeping and gnashing of teeth" Matt 8:12, 22:13, 25:30 "torments" Luke 16:23 "tormented in this flame" Luke 16:24 "place of torment" Luke 16:28 "outer darkness" Matt 8:12,22:13 "everlasting punishment" Matt 25:46
Hebrews 9:27 says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGMENT:" it is appointed unto man once to die . . . and one day- YOU will die. . . And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments. .. As you leave your body - you realize something is happening. You hear a sound. . . getting louder and louder. . . screaming . . .weeping. . . wailing. Terror and fear beyond anything you could imagine overtakes you. "This can't be happening!" you scream. Your nostrils are filling with the awful stench of burning souls. Your face ignites from the heat. Flames are now blazing from your eyes, nostrils, ears, mouth- every opening in your body, flames are roaring out. Your body is sizzling and crackling from the flames. Your body is now madly thrashing and convulsing from the horrible pain. "Why don't I die?", you scream. You begin weeping and gnashing your teeth with the millions. "When will this pain stop?" But you know it will never stop. . . The darkness is so terrifying, it begins engulfing you. You feel something moving in the darkness. . .something horrible is happening. "No! No! This can't be happening" you scream - as your worm is emerging. You begin cursing the day you were born. You scream -"Oh God, why didn't you warn me?"- but you remember the preacher pleading with you to trust and OBEY Jesus Christ. You remember reading that gospel tract. You cry - "God don't you care?" - but you remember John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,. . ." NO ONE SHOULD PERISH BUT MOST WILL. "God is a God of love - He won't allow this", you cry - but you remember John 3:36, ". . . he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." And you soon realize, that Jesus Christ was right -there is a place called hell. AND YOU ARE THERE - FOREVER!
But God is a God of LOVE. . . Why would a GOD OF LOVE send me to hell? Yes, God is a GOD OF LOVE - but God is also a HOLY GOD. A HOLY GOD demands payment for sin. Otherwise God would NOT and could NOT be HOLY. Because God is holy - sin MUST be condemned. Joshua 24:19 says, ". . he is an HOLY GOD;. . . he will NOT forgive your transgressions nor your sins." BUT FRIEND I HAVE GOOD NEWS! God does NOT want you in hell. Hell was not made for man. Matthew 25:41 says, hell was, ". . . prepared for the devil and his angels:" Because God is a GOD OF LOVE, and He LOVED YOU so much, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die a cruel death on a cross to pay the price a HOLY GOD demands for your sins. Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God does not send someone to hell. You choose hell when you reject Jesus Christ. When you refuse God's love gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ. . . YOU CHOOSE HELL!
Millionaire Ted Turner, said in an interview, "I'm looking forward to dying and being cast into Hell. That's where I belong." You say - he's a fool! But friend, when you say "No"; to Jesus Christ and His payment for your sin - you are saying the same thing! You're telling God - I don't need Jesus Christ - I'll pay for my sins in hell! If you reject God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ ONE DAY YOU WILL BE IN HELL!
Dr. Rawlings has watched as thousands of people depart into eternity. Most people think they'll somehow "sneak" into heaven, but Dr. Rawlings claims most people descend into the flames of hell!
Jesus Christ gave a solemn warning in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. . . MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO AVOID HELL - GOD'S WAY - NO OTHER WAY - JESUS CHRIST IS THE WAY - THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID HELL - IT MUST BE THE REAL JESUS. IT MUST NOT BE AN IMAGINARY JESUS. IT MUST BE THE REAL JESUS, WHO ONLY CAN SAVE YOU FROM THE WRATH TO COME.

Don't take any chance on hell. If it was for a few days, a few months, a few years or even a million years, but to be tormented - FOREVER! You will despair of ever having any deliverance! You will beg for death itself to come and take you away! You will curse the day you were born! Revelation 14:11 says, "The smoke of their TORMENT ascendeth up for EVER AND EVER: and they have NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT." What could possibly be worth eternity in hell? No wonder Jesus Christ said in Mark 8:36, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him SHOULD not perish, but have everlasting life." SADLY MOST WILL PERISH HOWEVER.
God has something far better than words can describe for those who love Him. I Corinthians 2:9 says, ". . .Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." Friend, there is a place called hell! And, if you continually refuse God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ - just as sure as you live and breathe - ONE DAY YOU WILL WAKE UP IN HELL!
I have heard many say I don't believe in hell. WHAT IF YOU BELIEVE WRONG? Friend, if you were to be so unfortunate to go to hell, your belief will NOT EFFECT HELL'S REALITY.
Don't wait until you die to find out the truth about Hell! Tomorrow may be too late! Proverbs 27:1 says, Boast not thyself of tomorrow: for thou KNOWEST NOT what a day may bring forth.One thing is CERTAIN - it is appointed unto man once TO DIE, but after this the judgment. You may have made some terrible mistakes in your life. The same is true for eveyone. ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. It is not will I make a decision for Christ. It is not will I receive Jesus Christ as my personal savior. THE QUESTION IS - WILL THE HOLY GOD FOR CHRIST'S SAKE ACCEPT ME?
Now is the accepted time. Today is the day of salvation. Today if you will hear His voice harden not your heart. You must get to KNOW the Real Lord Jesus Christ. Will the Lord Jesus Christ say He KNOWS you? It is not just knowing about the Lord Jesus Christ. We must KNOW the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ said you MUST be born again. We MUST be Justified by Faith in the Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must CONFESS we are a SINNER. We MUST REPENT. We MUST believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, confess Him before men, be baptized with water and have Him baptize us with the Holy Ghost.
If you don't KNOW the Real Lord Jesus Christ, and there are many false Christs preached by the false teachers in these days of strong delusion, then you are on the way to hell! Don't let anyone convince you that when you die it will be all over! The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGMENT." Revelation 20:15 says, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE." If you are not ABSOLUTELY SURE that you KNOW the Real Lord Jesus nothing is more important. Don't put it off another second! NOTHING'S WORTH TAKING THE CHANCE! It's simple to be saved ... Realize you are a sinner. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:10 "... for there is no difference. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 Realize you CAN NOT save yourself. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; Isaiah 64:6 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, Titus 3:5 Realize that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins and give you the power of the Holy Ghost to stop sinning, not give you a license to sin as some would teach. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, 1 Peter 2:24 Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Revelation 1:5 You must understand what it means to be justified by faith in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua THE Messiah. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 Acts 2:38-40 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him SHOULD not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 You SHOULD not perish. No one SHOULD perish. However, sadly MOST WILL PERISH in this wicked generation of strong delusion and great apostasy. We are truly living in a time as Jesus said that is like the days of Noah. Iniquity abounds and the love of many has gone cold. People who would fail to warn us of the reality of hell certainly do not love us but profess feigned affection.
