Dear Friends –
Some people have actually taken time to study some of Ivan Panin's work. I do not personally have time for such study, even if college math instruction through 300 level calculus, and partial differential equations, and statistics, might possibly equip one for study of Panin's work. Panin proved how much better is the human mind than that of a computer. Panin could take GARBAGE IN and output something that EVERY believer would want to believe. One will make nothing but enemies in the world of believers, to say anything of any derogatory nature against Panin's conclusions. I hope that I do not become your enemy by putting the light of truth regarding how UNWISE it is to refer to Panin's work to prove anything, other than that the human mind is capable of having garbage input and figuring and rationalizing anything, even something wonderful. However Panin's INPUT of the texts of Westcott & Hort is GARBAGE, and the Holy Spirit of Truth would confirm THAT to anyone studied to be approved unto God on that particular subject.
Panin’s work on the Gospel of Mark many say is some of Panin’s greatest work. Panin's booklet "The Last Twelve Verses of Mark" provides an impressive display of numerical patterns regarding this powerful and VERY important passage of the Gospel. Modern pseud-scholars, self-proclaimed rabbis, and liars for hire, are almost unanimous in saying this important part of the Gospel, Mark 16:9-20, does not belong in the Holy Bible. So all believers who KNOW the Truth of Mark 16:9-20, by the quickening of the Holy Spirit, KNOW Mark 16:9-20 is INDEED the Word of God. Any Holy Spirit filled believer would say amen to Panin's conclusion that Mark 16:9-20 IS THE VERY WORD OF GOD. Any deceived faith shipwrecking liars, who would dare to question the veracity of Mark 16:9-20 are to be pitied, and lovingly need to be told Rev 22:19. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Panin claimed he found mathematical patterns that appeared by design, which would therefore prove the passage is authentic. In today's world of strong delusion and famine for hearing the Word of God, few seem to have faith as a child. The faith of a child would KNOW that passages are authentic, because one may find them in the God promised PERFECT bible, the Authorized Version, the KJV, the King Jesus Version.
It is really sad today, how many otherwise brilliant people, do not see the logical disconnect with the very idea of different bibles. The truth is, that Panin's work was designed to be appealing. That was the design which Panin himself designed, and found, and concluded in his impossible to verify, 50 year work project. Panin's work is impossible to verify unless one has 18 hours per day for the next 50 years to devote totally to such verification, regardless of how highly skilled in math one might be. Otherwise Panin's work is simply NOT POSSIBLE TO VERIFY. Maybe you know someone who would be willing to spend 18 hours per day for the next 50 years to verify, but I do not know such people. Even if I did know such an one, I do not think we have 50 years left before the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
However, the example in Panin's "The Last Twelve Verses of Mark," does teach us regarding the impossibiltiy of verification. That particular work of Panin does show that Panin's WORK was NOT as trustworthy and faultless, as so many precious faithful people would like to believe.
The plain simple fact is that any piece of text contains a large number of numerical "patterns" by chance. All that is needed is the statistical skill to present them in a way that makes them appear extraordinary. That is what Panin did. Some of the patterns presented by Panin, when studied, were indeed the result of deliberate design. Panin designed them! Yes, Panin, and not God, is the designer, of the patterns which Panin discovered.
The first textual critic was Satan, saying Yea, Hath God Said? Child of God, only if you KNOW. by FAITH, based upon God's integrity, not Panin's integrity, that the KJV Holy Bible is the ONLY English Holy Bible, in a world full of profane bibles, can you answer the devil the way the Lord taught us. The child of FAITH based upon God's integrity can answer thus - I KNOW SO, for IT IS WRITTEN in the God promised PEFECT, purified 7 times by the Holy Ghost, HOLY BIBLE, the very word of God. Yes, I KNOW SO, IT IS WRITTEN.
There are MANY, well over 5000 ancient Greek New Testament fragments, from very many editions. People have different opinions on how discrepancies between them should be resolved. Sometimes the differences are small, and sometimes they are large, but almost ANY difference is harmful to Panin's results. That is because many of Panin's patterns rely on the exact words, or even the exact letters, that appear in the text. Guess what happens to Panin's methods when one would use a corrupt text? If a computer were doing it - GARBAGE IN would never fail to produce garbage out. However, because Panin did it, what Panin wanted to find as being the design, was the design which Panin did produce.
As much as I would like to believe Panin’s results, KNOWING what I do KNOW, I can NOT trust Panin because I do NOT trust Westcott and Hort. I trust Jesus, Yeshua, whose name is called the Word of God. By the Holy Ghost, I know to trust the Word of God, and that also says that I can not trust such FAITHLESS, unbelieving occultists as Westcott and Hort. Panin used the edition of Westcott and Hort as the "basis" for his work. Panin used GARBAGE INPUT. If that does not cause you to put Panin's work in the circular file where Westcott & Hort's work belongs, then you have been deceived.
Though Panin used Westcott & Hort as his primary text, Panin very often made use of the many alternative readings that those authors suggested. He was prepared to pick and choose quite arbitrarily from the variations, meaning that in fact, he was really working with a huge number of texts, few of them corresponding to any real manuscript. After this deliberate tweaking of the text to make his patterns work, he then calculated "probabilities" without taking that tweaking into account. Panin even published his own Greek text, carefully tweaked, to provide the patterns that he most liked.
Panin believed that he was reconstructing the original text, but his logic was circular. Yes, sadly what Panin was doing was classic circular reasoning. Some may say, Jim that is what you are doing with the KJV. To which I always respond, God promised a PERFECT bible purified seven times by the Holy Spirit of Truth, and I KNOW that I have that perfect Holy Bible, based upon God's integrity, not Panin's, and certainly not Westcott and Hort's. I am sorry for anyone who does NOT KNOW something so essential to the faith based upon the integrity of God and not man. Faith that will stand and endure to the END in the great tribulation, which all saints must endure in the final 42 months before the return of the Lord, MUST BE BASED UPON GOD'S INTEGRITY AND NOT ANY MAN'S INTEGRITY. We must endure to the END, or we must die in repentance and THE Faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. My faith is based on God's promise, and on God's integrity, and not the work of Panin or any other man.
By deliberately designing the patterns himself, by tweaking the text, Panin eliminated his own argument, that the patterns proved an original design. The very most Panin could logically conclude was that his attempt to produce patterns had been successful.
Personally, I would not listen to anyone saying the Westcott and Hort Greek texts are good for anything other than the garbage can or for kindling a fire.
I checked my Greek Textus Receptus and found 166 words in those last twelve verses of Mark. I also checked another good Stephanus Greek text and found 164 words in those last twelve verses of Mark. Ken Smith also checked Panin's booklet "The Last Twelve Verses of Mark." PANIN'S WORK ON THE LAST TWELVE VERSES OF MARK BEGINS WITH THE OBSERVATION THAT THERE ARE 175 = 25 x 7 WORDS IN THE GREEK TEXT OF MARK 16:9-20. If that much is wrong, it should be obvious that many other things will be wrong also. Ken collected a large number of editions and counted the words in that passage. Here are his findings.

Panin pulled his 175 words in the twelve verses right out of thin air. Therefore the only thing Panin could prove by his FOUNDATIONAL BASE OPENING STATEMENT THAT THERE ARE 175 GREEK WORDS IN THOSE TWELVE VERSES is that he does not know how to count too well or THAT WHICH WE ALREADY DID KNOW THAT 25 x 7 = 175.
None of these editions of the Greek text even has the right number of words for Panin's claims. Child of God, as much as we might like to believe Panin, we still should be able to see what that does to Panin's claims concerning letter counts, numerical values, and his statistical analyis, and probabilities. Panin found paterns that Panin himself designed. Some trust in Panin but I will trust the MORE Sure Word of the KJV, the King Jesus Version, Holy Bible. The KJV has over 2000 EXPLICIT prophecies that have already been EXPLICITLY fulfilled. I figure only God can do that. I would also figure that the few remaining things God said He will do, that INDEED there is every reason to believe He will do exactly the Same, and NEVER miss. To those NOT using the KJV, if you were really STUDIED to be approved unto God on the subject, you would be KJV only. To the athiest I say, God says you will know you are a fool when you die and wake up in the hell you do not believe is real.
Few Panin fans know that one time Panin actually described the process of cooking the data to fit the desired outcome. That text of Panin, is what you may read at the top of this page in the 6 illustrations.

To the Panin follower, may I suggest you try the KJV Holy Bible the way God said to read it, EVERY WORD, in order, precept upon precept, line upon line, Gen 1:1-Rev 22:21. I like to believe that before you finish Psalms, that you too will be a KJV follower, a King Jesus Version follower. No matter who would figure otherwise, I personally figure God did keep His promise of Psalms 12:6-7, and I have the substance and evidence of that in the KJV Holy Bible, hidden in my heart, and given life by the Holy Ghost. I just pray for anyone figuring otherwise.
Brethren this is a THICK antichrist PLOT against the saints. Satan was the most wise of all of God’s creatures. Our only defense from the subtlety and deceptions of the deceived deceivers is to KNOW that God promised a PERFECT bible and therefore we have the KJV, the King Jesus Version. Read it. Believe It. Tell all the religious "ought to know betters", that God Said So. Tell them IT IS WRITTEN. Tell them it is written in the King Jesus Version Holy Bible. IT IS WRITTEN. IT IS WRITTEN. My prayer is that you will be diligent to KNOW what is written by the superintendence of the Holy Spirit of Truth, in the KJV Holy Bible, the King Jesus Version, and be FULLY DETERMINED TO DO WHAT GOD SAID JUST BECAUSE GOD SAID SO. God IS Love. Jesus Christ IS come in the flesh. God can NOT lie. God does NOT change. Jesus Christ died for Sinners, and He was resurrected for our justification. By no means did He give us a license to sin. He gave us the best reason and the power of the Holy Ghost to say NO to sin. He said if you love me, keep my commandments, that should be simple enough for any child to understand.
And the dragon was wroth with

commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Here is the
patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the
faith of Jesus. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have
